Dr. Ramesh Rengan
Rationale for hypofractionation and SBRT with proton therapy
Dr. Ramesh Rengan is Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is also a Professor in the Clinical Research Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. His main research focus is to improve the therapeutic benefit of radiation therapy and learning how radiation therapy can synergize with immune-harnessing cancer treatments.
Dr. Jing Zeng
Implementation of hypofractionation and SBRT with proton therapy
Dr. Jing Zeng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and Medical Director of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Proton Therapy Center. Her clinical focus includes thoracic and genitourinary malignancies. Her research focus includes response-adaptive radiation therapy, ultra-high dose rate radiation, and using radiation to help systemic treatments work better.
Dr Swati Girdhani
ConformalFLASH – Combining the benefits of protons and FLASH irradiation
Dr Swati Girdhani is Director of Research Collaborations at IBA. She is radiobiologist and oncology scientist with 14+years of post-graduate experience. Her research focus are emerging technologies in proton therapy including FLASH, Proton Minibeam and Arc therapy. In her current role, she manages academic collaborations for IBA FLASH Campus and leads in-house preclinical research with the ultimate goal for a clinically driven solution for FLASH Therapy.
