ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Presentation Format

All oral presentations must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. Please prepare your presentation using the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint (although older versions are also supported).

The screen aspect ratio will be 16:9.

Please avoid using Apple Keynote and Prezi presentations. The on-site computers will only support the PowerPoint format.

For Mac users, you can export your file to PowerPoint by selecting "Export to > PowerPoint".

Ensure your presentation is in a compatible format as indicated below.

Supported File Types

  • PPTX
  • PDF

Template

You may download the PRESENTATION TEMPLATE with the event graphics (optional).

Saving Your File

When saving your final presentation on a USB flash drive, ensure that all video or multimedia files (if any) are included. External content should be embedded directly into the presentation.

File Upload

There are two ways to upload your presentation:

1) ONLINE IN ADVANCE (recommended)

  • You are encouraged to upload your presentation online before arriving at the venue.
UPLOAD HERE the final version of your presentation by Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The Secretariat will ensure your presentation is available in the lecture room's network system, eliminating the need for on-site upload. Please note that we cannot guarantee the upload of presentations submitted after November 5. Therefore, those files must be uploaded on-site using a USB stick.
  • If you have more presentations, please name them accordingly.
  • Uploading online in advance is mandatory for speakers presenting in the early sessions on November 7, 2025.

OR

2) ON-SITE AT THE VENUE

  • If you have not uploaded your presentation in advance, please hand over your file to the A/V personnel in the lecture room on a USB flash drive as soon as possible upon arrival, but no later than 20 minutes before your session starts. If there is no break immediately before your session, please ensure that you upload your presentation during the last break before your session.
  • The A/V personnel will upload your presentation, and you will be able to verify that it is operating correctly.
  • Please note that if you are late, we cannot guarantee the timely upload of your file.
  • File upload is possible only during breaks, and it is not permitted to upload files while a session is in progress.
  • Presenting from your personal laptop is not permitted in the lecture room.

In the Lecture Room

Speakers are requested to be present in the lecture room at least 10 minutes prior to the session's start time to meet with the session chairs. Please be ready when it is your turn to ensure the session runs smoothly. It is advisable to remain in the lecture room prior to your presentation time in case of any last-minute schedule adjustments (e.g. a cancelled presentation before your talk).

Storage of the Presentations

Please complete the following CONSENT FORM to indicate whether you agree to make your presentation available to PTCOG-NA members. Publication of your presentation will depend on the authorization provided online.
